Helping Professionals

One of my passions is working with helping professionals, including healthcare providers, first responders, military veterans, and their family members. While caring for others' emotional and physical needs, you can experience direct or secondary trauma from the work environment. Burn-out, compassion fatigue, and problems with work/life balance can also develop.

Participation in therapy can help you:

-Identify how work related stress impacts you physically, emotionally, behaviorally, personally, and professionally

-Identify early indicators of vicarious trauma, professional burn-out, and compassion fatigue

-Learn effective coping strategies for managing work related stress, vicarious traumatization, professional burn-out, and compassion fatigue

-Improve your self-compassion skills and relationships with others

-Learn skills for cultivating work/life balance
